Find the Cooler Moments
Find the cooler moments
By Deborah Sharma
The soft
glow from golden fingers,
Touches vibrant flowers and lingers.
I’m bathed in warm bliss floating,
Subdued in a snug radiant coating.
Spring
Sun is pleasantly mellow,
A mercifully mild yellow.
Summer Sun relentlessly roasts,
Below which tender skin toasts.
In Spring
one revels in cozy,
In Summer one fights dozy.
One moans of Spring raining,
One groans of Summer draining.
Summer
air is humidly oppressive,
Movements feel heavily repressive,
Blistering in scorching heat,
People search for ways to beat.
Grab the
cooler moments before dawn,
To garden, stroll and mow the lawn,
Hide away in air-conditioned rooms,
Get ready to repeat as darkness looms.
