Winter's Kapha Dosha

 Winter's Kapha Dosha

By Deborah Sharma

In a frigid silent stillness,
Ice freezes nature’s shrillness.
Glistening in wicked boldness,
shutting out life in coldness.
Embrace a January hike in Winter’s flow,
crunching through soft, powdery snow
In the hushed lake’s stagnant slumber,
She lays trapped under glacial encumber
What lurks sleeping beneath water and earth?
Awaiting Spring for the renewal of birth.
